About Us

This is the Roman Catholic Student Parish in the city of Groningen. Founded in 2013, this has become a unifying place for people of all backgrounds. We plan many different activities, including catechesis, Bible study, retreats, and social events. There is something for everyone, so hopefully we will see you soon!

Summer Pilgrimage - 2024

Koblenz, Cologne & Trier

To honor our tradition, Fr. Arjen has organized another summer pilgrimage. This time around, our journey takes us to Germany. Together, we will explore the captivating cities of Cologne, Koblenz and Trier, and enjoy the beautiful scenery alongside the Moselle and Rhine rivers, with plenty of time, of course, for devotion and prayer.

Our Magazine 2023-2024

At the start of every academic year, we publish a magazine containing a bit of information about our parish,  some texts written by our members, and a more detailed account of the activities we have been organizing. If you are interested, have a look at it here:

Our Main Activities:

Holy Hour

Every Monday at 19:30

Once a week, we meet at the Sint Jozefkathedraal (Radesingel 4, 9711 EJ) for a Holy Hour. Together, we spend one hour in adoration of the Most Blessed Sacrament. We listen to beautiful hymns, readings from the gospel, and other meditation texts. Prayer is incredibly necessary, and this is a great opportunity to accompany  our Lord and be grateful for everything that he has blessed us with.

Thursday Evenings

19:00 Mass & 20:00 Discussion

Every Thursday evening begins with mass at 19:00, a time dedicated for prayer and worship. After that, we engage in in enlightening activities like catechesis, Bible study, and discussions. Join us as we work towards deepening our faith!

Saturday Evenings

After English Mass

On Saturdays, we meet at 17:00 in the Saint Joseph Cathedral for Holy Mass in English. After mass, we get together for various activities, like going for a drink, bowling, dinner, or try our luck at darts. We hope to see you soon, and if you have any fun activities in mind, please let us know!
